Atlanta filer
Hiiii, guys,
I’ve been a quiet observer all this time, and I got a lot of help from you guys, now I want to share my timeline and experience with you. Me and my husband are Atlanta filers.

Case received date: 06/14/2018
Biometrics date: 07/13/2018
EAD card is being produced: 11/05/2018
EAD received date: 11/07/2018
Interview date notice: 03/12/2019
Interview date: 04/11/2019
Case was approved: 04/15/2019
Card is mailed to me: 04/17/2019

I was really nervous before the interview, my husband kept calming down the whole time. And the officer, SHE IS SO NICE. She took my fingerprints and a picture. Instead of interview, it was more like a chatting mode, we were just greeting each other, and talking about the weather and the pollen at first. Then she asked how we met, the proposal, what are each other’s name, birthday. She also asked our home address, and where and what position are we working currently. Later, she asked us if we know each parents’ names, and if we know each other’s phone number. The whole process went good, she was really nice and that indeed calmed me down. And we went over all the general questions, such as did I ever do anything illegal, joined any terrorism organizations, etc. At last, she took all of our joint documents and she looked through all of our pictures and gave them back to us. It took approximately 30 minutes to do the interview. She told us eventually that she will recommend us approve and that’s it.

She didn’t give me any paper said my case is approved, but I received the I797 notice of action today in the mailbox.

Now I have a question, in the i797 notice, it said I may be required to take biometrics processing. Didn’t I already take one when I was getting my EAD? Does it mean I need to do it gain? If so, how long do I need to wait til they give me another notice? Or I will directly receive my green card?

Thank you guys, and hope everything goes well for your cases!!!
