My I-485 status: Ready to schedule for an interview

My lawyer said I could receive the interview before the EAD but I’m not hopeful because Houston has a processing time of 1.5 - 2 years. Have raised 1 SR since March and got an email stated that I should expect an answer by March 29, till now nothing has happened. My lawyer advised me to wait another week then she’ll help me raise another SR.
My parents submitted the green card package (family-based, my sister is a US citizen) in March last year, didn’t get the EAD until November, which was 7.5 months later so I guess it’s almost there for myself, be patient everyone.
