Had my first interview which lasted 15minutes everything went well. Had my attorney with me,the interview officer asked me questions on my i 485 form and how we met. she asked my husband where I lived when we met, she also asked him where we got married. Then she proceeded to the yes/no questions. She asked if we had a joint account, lease, utility bills which my attorney already stacked up all the document we had and made copies for her, he also made copies of most pictures on our album so wasn't worried when she didn’t look at the album we came with, she asked my husband for his tax return, he told her he hasn’t filed his tax. I told her we moved so she updated the new address for us then she told us our case will be reviewed and we would get a decision in the mail in 4 weeks, she made a copy of my husbands ID card. I felt really bad but My attorney said we did good. my EAD updated to “new card is being produced”
After I received my EAD didn’t receive an update until a week to my second interview which was Feb 12 2019, on the day of the interview we were separated my attorney was out of town so we went alone, to my surprise it was the same interview officer, she ask if we had additional document other than the ones we had at the first interview, i gave the file to her, after an hour she came back to get my husband, he was in there for over 2 hours, when she called me in i was there for less than an hour, she also said the interview was been recorded which i could see the camera in front of me, asked the same question she asked my husband, she told us we will receive a decision in the mail again. After we left , my husband and i went through the questions and we realized we got about 5 questions wrong. I haven’t heard anything ever since, I’m depressed , submitted a renewal for my EAD. Is there anyone that has been through this and got approved? I could really use a good vibe right now
