As i wrote in my previous post I had my interview on March 7. There was no update up until the 28th of March. At that time I decided to open a SR to ask why its taking so long.
Call USCIS a few days later and spoke to tier 2 officer who said that there was no update and that everything looked fine and that SR should be answered by my interviewing officer by April 12. That reassured me somewhat. April 12 came and nothing.
Woke up on April 17 to emails and messages that case has been approved!
April 17 - i-130 Name has been updated
April 17 - i-485 has been approved and will mail you approval letter
April 17 - i-485 we ordered your new card
April 22 - received letter saying approved 10 years green card
April 22 - we mailed your card
The journey was frustrating and alot of sleepless night but thanks be to God, I am on the final lap. For everyone that is still waiting after interview or even waiting for a interview, Hang in there it might be long but not forever and so worth it.
