L2 EAD Renewal Experience 2019
Hi All - I would like to share my L2 EAD renewal experience.

My L2 EAD was expired on March 2019. So we applied for renewal in Dec-2018 and received case no. on Dec-24-2018 and from then there was no update from USCIS.

We raised expedite request on March-21 and received response from USCIS that "My case was adjudicated and need to wait for 45 days to receive the decision".

We reached out to Congressman office but no luck. They haven't responded to any of my phone calls/emails. Totally waste of time.

On April 17th, we called USCIS around 8 am EST and lady on the phone told that EAD got approved and need to wait for 30 days to receive approval notice.

Out of my anxiety, I called USCIS again on 18th April and lady on phone confirmed that they sent approval notice but we can't work with approval notice.

I received approval notice on 20th April but online status still remains the same "Case was received". Thank God, on Monday 22nd when I checked online status was showing as Card was picked up by USPS and finally EAD card got delivered today morning (24th April).

Exactly it took 4 months starting from Case received till Card delivery. My center is California and this is my third renewal (earlier I got in 70 and 90 days..this is the long wait).

I wish you all the very best.
