EAD (WorkPermit)

Hi All,

I was silent follower of these experiences which kept my hope floated for last 6.5 months.
Now is the time to give back to all the October 2018 filers who all was waiting for EAD to be approved anxiously.

Here is my timeline:

NBC. Employment Based AOS C09.

On 10/12/2018 - Filed I-485 / I-765 / I-131
On 10/23/2018 - All Case Status changed to "Case was Received" and checks got encashed
On 11/13/2018 - Had Bio-Metrics Appointment
On 03/25/2019 - Called USCIS to inquire about the status. Got standard answer since processing time was then 4 to 6 months have to wait
On 04/16/2019 - Called USCIS again and explained that I am waiting for EAD for more than 6 months now and since twice the dates got retrogressed for NBC would like to Expedite my case. Level 1 Officer was nice and accepted the "Expedite Request" for severe financial loss as I am the sole bread earner of my family with dependent wife and 2 kids
On 04/22/2019 - My Expedite case was assigned to an Officer for review. Same day I saw updates in USCIS My Account status showing as Expedite request is complete. At night saw status got changed to "New Card is Being Produced"
On 04/25/2019 - Case Status updated to "Card was mailed to Me"

Now waiting for USPS to pick up my card and get the tracking number. Hoping that the dreadful wait is over for EAD and hoping to get my card next week. Keeping my fingers crossed that USPS doe not goof up in delivery.

Wishing Good Luck to all October 2018 filers that wait for few more days and good news will be there for all of us. NBC is picking up October 2018 cases now and working on them.
