Interview and I 485 approval
Hello to all of you!
This forum has been very helpful to my peace of mind during the process and I want to share my experience.
The interview was in Newark, NJ and it wasn't approved in the spot, anyway the officer was telling me the process to remove the conditions since we don't have a two year marriage. Two days after, I received the message updating my case. I just need to wait for my green card to come in the mail.
The officer was impressed for the way I presented the evidence (everything was in a binder and classified, I followed the advice given in this forum for USCITIZENFILLINGFORSPOUSE, Emerald2020 and other threads and adapted to what I have, I definitely recommend to do this, Organization and lots of evidence was a key factor to let the officer have a decision).
I realized the officer took a lot of attention to the Financial evidence and our album (everycase may be different about the photos, however he realized we have traveled a lot on vacations and have photos with family members and friends). I made a Relationship Timeline, so that the officer could have and idea how the relationship developed.
The officer didn't ask a lot of questions, mostly went over the I-130 and I-485 questions. He just asked how we met, where was our first date and where have we traveled together.
My P.D. is from end of July 2018 and it took just 9 months. I sent some evidence ahead and the medical with my case and now we just updated the financial and added the rest. The interview went more as a conversation and it was really nice.
Hope this can be helpful. My only advice is to be honest, and trust God. Everything will be fine!
