Hi,
My case went so fast. It about 2.5 months for our interview. That was a stroke interview. The IO seemed to be fastidious even when we had met him to say "hi".
We were separated for the interview, he asked my spouse first for 30-40 mins with a lot of questions. However, there is no big deal for us to answers those questions. Then, he asked me after finishing the interview, my wife. He asked me some basic questions, incidentally, the fire alarm rang. It interrupted our interview. After coming back, he trickily told me he wanted to deny my application and the alarm saved me. He told me our marriage is weird. I confidently told him he was wrong with some reasons that it isn't weird. Then, he continued his interview for about 30mins.
He took some pictures in our album and our same name bills, insurance. I showed him our lease, bills, bank statements, insurance, but I forgot to give him our 2018 tax form. He was nicer after the interview and told me and spouse wait for about 3months. If the application is approved, we will receive the card by mail. Otherwise, he told me they might come to our place to investigate. We left the interview with no decision made, and there is no notice provided. What do you think about our case?
In my opinion, Our answers to his questions were fine.
I got my OPT before filing those forms I130, I485, I131, and I765.
Therefore, there is no EAD card approved before the interview.
Today, after 10days of the interview, I got the status updated for only my I765 " the new card is being produced"
That makes me confused about my GC case. Does anyone have the same experience?
