GC Interview - SF Filer
PD: Nov. 9, 2017
Interview Date: Apr. 29, 2019

Finally, the day has arrived today. We went to the USCIS building half an hour ago, met our lawyer there. Checked in at the front desk, photo and fingerprint were taken. Then, we were asked to be seated and told that our officer would call my name when it's my turn. 15 minutes after the actual interview time, a male officer called my name. We followed him to his office. The first thing he asked us to remain standing and take an oath. Then, we seated and he introduced himself and outlined how he will conduct the interview.

He started with I-485 form and asked me;
- My name, place of birth, date of birth, nationality
- Date of the last time I entered the US, visa type
- Total US entries over the course of my life
- US address
- Occupation
- Marriage Date
- And almost all of the Y/N questions

Then he asked my wife;
- Her name, place of birth, date of birth
- Marriage Date
- Occupation
- Addresses she has lived so far ( I highly recommend memorizing not only your relationship timeline but also your prior addresses timeline. We could not memorize the exact dates really well and got stressed. But I guess it is not really critical.)

And suddenly he asked her:
- How we met
- Where we married
- When we decided to marry
- What kind of marriage ceremony we had - religious, dinner and etc.
We answered these questions together. Showed him our photo album and gave other supporting documents. At some point, we also casually talked about our hobbies and etc. This part was more relaxed. Then he left the room with all the files and came back 10 minutes later. He gave us a white US letter size paper stating that our case will be reviewed. He said this is normal procedure, usually, it should not take so long to hear about our case. We thanked him and he escorted us to the exit.

I guess one more time it is time to wait and wait. We felt that everything went well and our lawyer also thought so. Let's keep our fingers crossed for a quick result.
