Expired License and No EAD
Today my husband's drivers license expires. :( We have not received the EAD or Green Card yet, but we have the I-485 interview scheduled for May 28. We took the interview notice to the DMV hoping that with that my husband could renew his license. Unfortunately, he needs the work permit or green card before he can renew. So looks like he is back to being stuck at our place while I work all day, without being able to work or even drive anywhere. At least the "end is in sight" since our interview is scheduled. One more month, and praying we will be accepted immediately for the green card. I have a feeling they have forgotten about the EAD at this point.
