Employer provided law firm for family based GC which is under process. Can I leave that employer?
I am currently on H1B visa (India) working for one of the really big tech companies in California. My company was supposed to file for my employment based green card. However, I got married to a US citizen and the company said that I can just use their law firm to file my family based green card instead of employment based.

The law firm already filed for my family based GC. They made me sign G-28, Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Accredited. I received EAD card and advance parole and waiting for the final interview. Expecting the interview date to be around September 2019 based on current trends. I should point out that USCIS sent EAD/AP directly to law firm's address and not my home address.

Now, I got a better job opportunity in other company in the meanwhile. Since my green card is not based on the employment, can I change the jobs? What happens to the law firm who is representing me but get paid by my current employer who I am planning to leave? Will it create any issues for me?
