Case Approved - Card In Production (SFO)
Hello All,
I wanted to thank everyone for all there help here along the way. My PD was Nov 17, 2017 and had my interview yesterday 4/30/19 in SFO.
On the day of the interview we got there early to find parking and get in line through security which I am glad we did as it took about half an hour with all said and done to get through.
We were called in as soon as we sat down. We were interviewed by a nice woman who made us feel comfortable and even joked and laughed a bit with us.
She asked me (the beneficiary) almost all the questions directly from my application. Along with these other ones
1) What my name and birthday was.
2) My husband's birthday
3) Where he was born
4) She asked my husband if he had meet my parents and what there names were ( I was a little nervous because he answered the question wrong but in his defense they asked for my fathers name and I don't know my birth father and so to me my step father s my dad.
5) When was my last entry into the US and when I first came here.
6) Why we decided to get married.
Over all the interview was very quick maybe 15 minutes max.
I also had a stack of evidence organized in a manila folder with a table of content and tabs from office depot with numbered "Exhibit A..." tabs separating the evidence. I explained what the evidence proved and gave a short description. I got my inspiration from USCITIZENFILINGFORSPOUSE's table of content and the officer was impressed. I also had a who album of pictures which showed our families interacting arranged in chronological order with a short description on who was in the pictures. (She didn't keep any pictures but kept the who stack of papers)
This morning I woke up to an email saying that my case was approved and a new card is in production!
