EB2 Interview Experience
Hello Everyone:
I have just finished my interview yesterday. I would like to share my experience with you guys.
My interview was the afternoon, waited for about 40mintues to call my name.
My IO is a gentleman and he was very nice. But he asked me a lot questions.
Name, DOB, Address(now &before), When is the latest date to arrive US, and some basic personal information.
Then he started to ask me about my job. What is your job duties, what did you do yesterday, what is the most difficult thing at work, What is your Boss's name, his backgroud.... and so on.
To be honest, I didn't expect he would ask that many questions........And made me so nervous.
Also he started to ask where did you go to school, why choose this school, and something about my academic background...
After about 40 minutes of interview, he then said your case needs to be review.
'I was so upset and asked him how long it is going to take. He said up 120days.......I thought I have to wait for another 2 to 3 months.
This morning, when I checked my case status, it changed to "New Card Is Being Produced". Finally I got my GC!!!!!
IO didn't ask me for specific documents, he just said you can give me anything you have, like EVL, w2 and Tax return. I gave them all but he didn't even look through them.
All in all, just be confident and say the truth, everything will be okay. Good luck to everyone!!
