Medical exam blood test not covered by insurance?
Hi everyone,
I recently did my medical exam (already paid the flat fee) and doctor did a blood test to see if I missed any vaccines. I was informed by the person who did blood work that this is normally covered by insurance.
Couple of days ago I saw that my insurance had a new claim which was the blood test from Labcorp, and $0 was covered by insurance, I have to pay about $600 out of pocket. Is this normal and we need to take the bullet or there's something wrong with the insurance/hospital/Labcorp side?
