FEDERAL PLAZA intervew today (05/13/2019
(QUEENS FIELD OFFICE US CITIZDN MARRIAGE BASE)
I have been actively posting ane replying my comments and experiences. so let me again go through them.
oct 2018 filed i485, I130, i131, I465
nov 2018 fingerprint given
dec 2018 work permit and advance parole as i had it expedited for family emergency. travelled my country and came back with advanced parole on feb,2019. I didnt had any problem travelling though the f1 visa i came with was lost(meaning i lost my passport with visa).
april food day(april 1,2019) got notification that they scheduled our interview
april 10,2019 got the physical letter of interview scheduled for may 13(today)
So we checked in at 11:00 as we had our interview for 11:30. the IO came out to call me around 12:00 but he asked if he can take a break for his lucnch and also asked us to eat if we havent. then we waited for him for 1 and half hour and he called me again for interview. he was strict and professional(he didnt smile at all). then he took us and take oath anfd my finger print and photo. then he explained the interview process which he means he will be asking questions to individual and we are not allowed to mind in each other's question and remain silet. he asked for originals of id, passort, naturalization certificate, and birth certificates. question he asked me(beneficiary) are:
1. what is your spouse full name
2. does she have any middle name
3. address we reside together (he asked me this question 2 times may be becasue he wants to know if i am sure)
4. he asked me my travelled history and i gave him my recent i94
5. what is my spouse date of birth
6. when is our anniversary
and he moved to my wife(US citizen) and asked her:
1. her spouse full name
2. where does your spouse live
3. how old is your spouse and his date of birth
4.where was your spouse born
and that was it.he didnt ask where we met and nothing about our relationships. he then asked to choose any 4 photos from the album. he didnt look at the album at all and also asked to give the documents that has both names. I have him checking account statements and credit card statements. he took 3,4 of the statements and i forgot to give him the remaining joint documents becasue he was asking me to put the other documents in my bag. may be thats why i forgot to give him rest. he then said everything is good and we should expect the answer in the mail in few weeks. then he handed us the white paper that says case must be reviewed. then he escorted us to the exit. i shook hand and thanked him for his time. then after half an hour the status in the case tracker app changed to case must be reviewed. All the answers were correct and with confidence since our marriage is genuine. lets hope for good and thank you for reading. i have always wanted to see the whole experience from start to end so that people would know what to expect. thanks again.
