Traveling with AP
Hi all,

I have couple of questions. First of all, i got married in June 2018. In July 2018, the six months approval stamp on my B2 entry visa expired (i entered in January 2018). And my visa itself expired in November 2018. In December i filed all the forms. In January 2019 i received all my notices and did biometrics.

Since January my I-485 says it is ready to be scheduled for an interview. So my first question is, how long does it usually take for the interview notice to arrive? It is the San Jose, CA office.

In April 2019, i have received my EAD and AP combo card. Also received my SSN. So, technically i know i can travel outside of USA. But the problem is, even though i was married in June 2018, I did not file the forms until December 2018 and during that time my visa and legal stay in US expired. I am worried if it can be a problem for me, if i travel back to my country? Can they refuse my entry to the country saying that i stayed illegally in the country even though i was married? I am also planning to do this trip alone. Because my wife has job.

Thank you for reading and answering.
Good luck to all those waiting!
