This is my time to celebrate. My God, you people are fantastic here. Thank you for all the members who contributed to this forum. I'm trying to make it short because there's a lot to tell.
PD:Feb 12 2018 I-130
RFIE:Feb 23 I130A
May 23:response received
So during those times I was wondering what was happening to my case because I saw people here got their bio 2 weeks after they sent their application. What happened was I used a so called lawyer as you can see she sent only I130 without 130A, my spouse a USC so she didn't fill concurrent. I thought USCIS lost my case because whenever I called they couldn't see my I485 ,until a L2 officer told me since my receipt number start with YSC **** *** I didn't file concurrent. Now I called the lawyer and told her what USCIS told me but age6was trying to lie. Almost every day I emailed her to give me my I485 receipt number because I gave her money to file concurrent and she said she sent it. In Aug she called me to come get my bio appointment clearly that's when she sent it.
July 29th 2018:PD I485 according to bio letter
Aug 27th:bio appt
Aug 21: walk in
Aug 23:RFIE for I864 somewhere in Aug I130 approved.
I can't remember when I received it. And I sent this by myself I didn't use that lawyer anymore.
Sept 11:I 864 received USCIS
Dec 3: RFE for supporting evidence for I-864
My husband is self employed . I sent business bank statements, checks. Apparently that wasn't enough. This time I didn't know what to do anymore 😏😏.
I found a good lawyer. She helped me respond to the RFE.
Feb 28 2019: supporting evidence received (deadline)
March 12: case is ready to be scheduled for an interview
March 29: interview scheduled
May 7:interview day 8am
Whoooo I receive favor from the Lord. I didn't sleep the previous night. I was making sure I got everything. I used the link they have here. We've been married for almost 5years so I brought bank statements since 2014, lease 2014.i didn't bring any pics due to procrastination. We arrived 5min before 8 ,so stressful. As soon as I got on 3rd floor 5min later the officer called us. Officer Gates was her name, black woman. So at the door she said who's the USC my hubby said me and she said you can stay here and I took everything from him. My heart was melted I said omg strokes interview.
She said don't give me anything that I already have. At that point I didn't know what to give because everything I got she had them. She asked if I have CURRENT lease, I gave her the whole lease from 2014 to 2019.
She ask my name and ask me if we have children how old, where is he?
Then she asked me how did me and my husband meet and when I started to talk she got a phone call so I didn't finish my story.
She then proceed to the yes/no questions but before she started I told her that I made a mistake about citation. I brought a copy of my ticket $54 in 2015 so she took it and put it in the file. She asked me if I worked illegally I said yes then she corrected it. She was nice and professional. When she's she asked me my right address and she said I'll recommend your case o be approved you will receive your card in 4-6weeks. Do you have any question? I said yes I printed something I'm going in a mission trip so I told her they waiting for me to buy the ticket she said there's nothing she can do just wait. But I have to tell you I was praying through the interview. Then she said we're done here I said you don't need my husband she said no you're good.
We left but I declared that before I got home I should see my card is in production
May 10: card was mailed and received approval letter of I485
May 13:UDPD picked up card
May 14: card in hand. 10years. Glory to God!
Stay prayed up.
