Interview coming up- Husband (USC) has been out of the country for 6 months
Hello everyone, our interview is fast approaching and as we gather all our information I would like to ask for anyone who has been in a similar situation to please help and advise

Our PD date is September 18th
His father was diagnosed with prostrate cancer October 24th stage 4 and is currently in an hospice preparing for the end of his life
My spouse is the only son so it is understandable that he would be by his fathers side because his mum is old and aged and they needed help.

My husband is a software developer and his work is primarily remote so he still has a stable amount of income and was still employed by a U.S based company.

My question is the IO officer at the interview might ask why he has been out of the country for 6 months and we will tell him about his fathers condition

What documents do you suggest we bring to the interview? What should we request from the hospital in regards to his dads condition to take to the interview?
