Good evening beautiful people,
Today I went to Federal plaza for my "call in notice" G 56 i received some 2 weeks ago.
Please note: i went alone without my husband because the notice didn't mention to come with him.
I arrived at 7am my appointment was at 8am, checked in then 10mins before 8am the officer i had an appointment with came to the waiting room and called my name, we went to his office, he asked for appointment letter from me and we went through my i 485 entire form, after he signed at the end and askes me to sign too.
Then he said everything is good you will be receiving your card in the mail. I was surprised so i asked is this all???? Because it took less than 10 mins then he smiled and said yes your application is approved. Me Okkeeeyyy 😀
He escorted me to the door with a smile he said welcome to America, i replied thank you. In my heart i was dancing wanted to hug him but i controlled myself💃
About 25 minutes after I left Federal plaza i received a message from uscis, checked my status and saw the magic words "your new card is being produced" wow couldn't believe my eyes.
Just wanted to say thank to all of you its because of your postings on this forum that i was able to do this without a lawyer. Thank you so much
