Interview Prep Questions
Hi all, this forum has been GREAT!

I am preparing for my interview in Federal Plaza, Manhattan in June 2019. We filed for AOS based on marriage to a green-card holder in Oct 2017. My husband and I have been together for a long time, and we have tons of proof of our relationship (our I-130 was approved a long time ago). However, in preparing the docs, two additional questions came up.

1. Our lawyer asked me to do a new medical exam, Form I-693. They said that since the original one was completed and submitted in Oct 2017, a new one would likely be requested since it's been more than 12 months. Is this true? I was under the impression that the medical exam was valid for 2 years! I have lived in the US for ten years now, first as F1 then H1B.

2. They also asked us to submit Form I-864 for Affidavit of Support. I'm on H1B so this is not an issue since we are a dual-income household, we have plenty of proof that we are above poverty guidelines. Did other folks who were interviewed on this forum submit this form + proofs during their interview?

Thank you all for your support and advice during this insane process.
