Interview experience:
We got there 15 min early and got called 1 hr late. The officer apologized for the delay and explained that another officer had to leave early. I found that to be polite and helped me and my wife relax a little bit. In general the interview was simple and quick, and the officer was very nice. He also made some jokes throughout the interview. Here are the questions he asked:

1. To wife: where did you meet?
2. To wife: what does he do for work?
3. To me: where does she work?
4. To me: when did you get married?
5. To me: all yes/no questions on the I-485 form.

He asked if I have ever stayed in the country illegally. At the moment of filing, my student visa was still valid so the answer that relates to that in the form was marked as No. However, it expired one month after filing date. I explained that to him, and he said that's illegal stay and changed the answer.

After the interview was over, he showed me the changes he made to the I-485 (he added some extra yes/no questions, changed the answer to the question about illegal stay, and crossed out empty sections like the children info since we don't have). He made me sign the form and said that I should be receiving the card in 7 to 10 days (I got it in 6, which is even better).

Another important point is that I mentioned that my job was waiting for me, and the officer told me he was going to stamp my passport with a temporary I-551 so I could return to work right away. I gave him my passport, and he told us to wait downstairs while he works his magic. He came to us and gave me my passport with the stamp. Again, he was extremely nice.

We also had a decent amount of documents/proof, but he didn't ask for any of it. My believe is that the officer saw enough in the evidence we sent with the initial application packet. Initially, we sent pictures and other proof starting in 2012 when my wife and I started dating during in high school.

I'm very thankful to everyone who posts their experiences. To those of you still in process I wish your applications get processed in a timely manner and that you interviews go smoothly.
