Atlanta Filers
Here is my timeline. Maybe it will be of help to someone looking to estimate their timeline for Atlanta field office.

My application is employment based requiring 3 years of J-1 waiver and labor certification.

PD: 07/01/2017. This is when my Labor certificate was accepted and thus my Priority date.

I-140 application 12/2017 and approved 04/2018.

I was not eligible to apply for I-485 until I finish my J-1 waiver which was 3 years.

J-1 waiver completed on August 15th 2018.

I-485, I-131 and I-765 was filed and mailed on August 20th 2018. Acceptance notice August 21st 2018.

Bio-metrics appointment 09/10/2018. Completed bio-metrics 10/01/18

When processing time passed 90 days, I requested infospass on 20th Feb 2019 regarding my advance parole and EAD, as i wanted to travel out of the country so badly. Response was that I was going to get a reply from USCIS before 03/07/2019.

03/04/19: Got an email about a status change and when I checked online, my I-765 was approved and I subsequently received the EAD/AP combo card in the mail 03/12/19.

03/18/19: Case is ready to schedule for interview.

04/10/19: Interview scheduled and we will mail you a notice

04/15/19: received interview notice in the mail and interview schedule for 05/16/19 at Atlanta field office at 11:05 a.m.

Documents for interview:
- Employment verification letter from employers
- 3 years tax statement and all this years paystub
- Advance degrees and board certifications
- Marriage certificate
- Children's birth certificate
- bank statements, utility bills, insurance and home lease agreements
- passport and drivers license, EAD card and SS card
- Interview notice, labor certificate, i-140 approval notice, I-129 approval notice, I-485 supplement J notice,DS-2019 for my J-1.

Interview date 05/16/19. Arrived 2 hours to scheduled time. Went through security and got into the waiting area. Attempt to check in and was told, I cannot check in until 30 minutes to my scheduled time. Sat in the waiting area patiently with my wife and daughter who are on H4 visa and my dependents in the I-485 applications.
Subsequently checked in 30 minutes to my scheduled time and was given a ticket number. We were sent to the second floor waiting area.

On getting to the second floor waiting area, we were looking at the numbers on the screen and noted that we will be going to room 1. About 15 minutes after our scheduled time, at 11:20 a.m., our number was called to proceed to room 1.

We walked to room 1 and meet the interview officer on the door. She was very nice and polite. She greeted us nicely and welcomed us. She told us that she has gone through our file and has every information she needs to make a decision on out case but needs to confirm a few things.

She asked for ID/Drivers license and took my finger print, my wife's finger print. Did not take our daughter's ID or finger print.

She asked us to stand and we took an oath to tell the truth together and she asked us to sit down.

She open the folder and asked me questions on the folder: What is your full name, have you used any other name in the past, DOB, Place of birth and name of employer and how long I have been working there?.

She turned to my wife and asked her same questions. Of-course my wife has never worked in the US and so she asked if she was planning to start working immediately after the approval and we laughed and joked about it and said well, as child care is expensive, we will consider that in the near future.

She now said that there are about 100 questions of inadmissibility in the I-485 and that she already ready our responses to them, is there a any changes we needed to make? I told her yes. I got a speeding ticket. She asked was I arrested for it? I said no but I paid the fine and avoided the court date. She asked me what was the fine, was it less that $500? I said yes and she said that is ok, almost everyone including herself has had a speeding ticket a couple of times, that is ok.

She ran through about 10 questions in the inadmissibility list on form I-485 and asked us to answer together but she needs to hear both voices and we did.

She asked for my last paystub. I gave her Jan, Feb, March and April. She turn my I-485 and asked me to sign, did same to my wife and asked me to sign our daughter's own I-485 form on her behalf.

She then asked if I have a photocopy of my driver's license and I said no. She took my driver's license and my wife's driver's license and made copies. She came back and gave our license back and said that our case is approved. that we shall received the card in the mail within 30 days.

We left her office and left the building. About 30 minutes later, status updated to : " we have ordered your new card".

Finally received the card in the mail and we are joyous.

To those that are still waiting. It is well and you day is coming.

N/B: I decided to share this experience because I have been reading other people's experience here over several months and used it to prepare and calculate my expectations. I think it helped me very much and I wanted to share my experience also, never know who it might help.

Open to answer questions.
