My journey is completed/GC on hand
What’s up guys ??
Finally I’m done guys, GC of 2 years on hand thank God! I got to say that’s this process went smoother than expected, my whole process lasted 3 months and 17 days, it’s amazing how fast all went.
So this is like a lil bit of my history, I’ve been in a B1/B2 for almost my whole life, my family and I used to came to United state at least once per year!
Sept 2017 a friend of mine introduced me his cousin (my now husband) and I never ever expect to get married with him because living in different countries and both working all time didn’t seem like we were be able to have a formal relationship but we worked it and we got married sept 28 2018!
It was hard for me at first because I was used to work and stuff and we initially were living with his mom and that’s was hard enough plus me being in the house doing nothing 24/7
Well feb 12 2019 we filled out my papers and then my process began
Biometric March 14 2019
Case ready for interview April 2 2019
Interview has been scheduled April 10 2019

I visited my home country from April 26 til May 12 with my advance parole
My interview day came we went to federal plaza, we got there at 12:40 my interview was at 1:00 we sat and wait, after 15 min an IO called us in, she started asking my husband my full name and DOB, parents names, where I was born, where did I studied in college, where i used to work and what did I do, for how long etc
Then she continued with me (we weren’t able to speak while the other one was talking)
She asked me his full name, DOB, name of parents, name of kids, age of kids, name of the school the attend, grade they are, address we live, how much is the rent, what he do for leaving, for how long, what I cook for him, at what time he leaves to work and at what time he comes back, who do the groceries, how far is the supermarket, name of it, where his parents were born, how many siblings he has, which number is he and many many questions more.
After that she just ask for my medical and ask us if we had any questions for her we said no and then the handle us a white paper saying that our process is being held for further review, we left and when we got home my status changed to my new card is being produced
May 22 my new card is being produced
May 24 my card was mailed to me
May 28 usps picked up my card
May 29 card on hand
I’m so grateful with God for this and thanks you guys for sharing y’all experiences, this is not done, I need my GC for 10 years and then my citizenship
May God bless y’all always and help y’all to finish soon
