Travel after interview
Has anyone traveled out of their US straight after their AOS interview? I have a trip booked (all of which is non-refundable) and my interview has been scheduled about 8 hours before my flight...bad timing I know!
I've read that if the officer approves the application, there's a chance they can stamp your passport with a temporary I-551. If anyone has had experience with this (good or bad), please let me know!
Timeline so far (Los Angeles: EB2 filer)
PD (PERM) - 6/14/18
I-140+I485 receipt - 10/18/18 (premium)
I-140 Approved - 10/24/18
Biometrics - 11/15/18
Transfer to NBC - 11/21/18
EAD approved - 12/28/18
Interview scheduled - 5/23/19
Interview - 7/2/19
