Hey guys im the petitioner (born us citizen) we live in Houston, Tx.
My husband came on a K1 visa we married soon after his arrival.
Sept. 2017 USCIS recieved his 485 & 765.
OCT 2017 Fingerprints
JAN 2018 They recvd additional income info.
Mar 2018 we got his EAD
August 2018 they made us do the medical again bc it had been a year since the original one.
Dec. 2018 I requested as to why it was taking so long they said we would get a response or request by Apr. 12 2019. We did not.
MAR 2019 his EAD expired and we sent off for renewal.
Now we are still waiting for 485 to be assinged to an agent.
August is going to come around again and we're going to have to pay a 3rd time for the medical exam.
Has anyone had this happen? What else can i do? My husband is so home sick, he hasnt seen his son in over 2 yrs. We had been told when someone gets a K1 and goes thru with 485 that they were waiting 6 months. Its been almost 2 yrs since we sent in the Paperwork for adjustment of status.
Hoping for the best. Patience is running thin.
