Here is my timeline:
AOS via Marriage
PD: 01/14/2019
Biometrics: 02/15/2019
Ready to schedule for interview: 03/28/2019
Currently on my OPT and my EAD expires in a week. I was hoping my AOS EAD would be ready but unfortunately it has not. I called USCIS about 2 weeks ago to expedite the EAD based on the fact that it will amount to Severe Financial Loss for me as I was currently working. I was told the case would be assigned for review within the 5 business days and that I would receive an email within that period.
When I heard nothing within the period given, I called USCIS (twice) to check and I was told (both occasions) that an email was sent to me stating that I should fax my proof of severe financial loss alongside the notice to USCIS. It was read to my hearing. I was shocked because I did not receive any email (both inbox and trash). I confirmed the email address they have and it was correct. I was really confused.
Has anyone experienced this situation where they never received an email claimed to be sent? How do I go about facing my proof when I do not even have the notice to fax along with it?
