Hello I like some of us reading this been a reader only.

Today I went to my interview I-485 marriage

Houston Texas - 1:30pm

Check in thru security.

Waited with my wife in the lobby. We got called in a few mins after our appointment.

IO officer called us is.

Enter the office did all the stuff oath finger prints etc.

Started by asking the yes or no questions
Ask for paycheck stubs. Ask our names etc
Everything was going really well even she said it like cheering us on.

Things were great approval sounding. I gave her the medical records.
We went well prepare thanks to a lot of help on this site and lawyer.
Well we got to the question if I ever been arrested. I said YES
I had a letter from the city it was from. But it didn’t say if I pay the fee etc for that violation. Just a no DL arrest which I’ve always thought it was dumb arrest but ok.
Well after that she called in the office ( im guessing where they do the cards ) she cancel my card she said that since it was that adjustment i485 I had to have that deposition letter saying I paid it and the reason I was arrested. ( she also was like why would you get arrested etc , I always thought it was dumb like I repeat ) well she cancel my card and now I got an RFE. She continue with the interview and said I’m basically approved as long as I turn in that deposition letter. Which I got after I left the appointment. Now tomorrow I’ll be mailing that out and she said ASAP the better and after that I should receive my card in a few weeks after she sees that letter.

My experience. Good and bad

Oh it’s a 2 year card due to is around 22 months of marriage.

My whole case since I sent my paper work has been a total of 13/14 months to this date.
