H1B, H4 Visa

Hi All,

This site helped me a lot every time during my VISA process. I really appreciate all of you who are sharing
experience here.

L1A rejected in 2017

Below is my Visa experience at Mumbai. attended with Wife and Kid

OFC appointment - 10th June 2019

- Mobile is allowed in biometric center
- Reached 15 mins before and security gave token & allowed to enter in to the premises .
- Two queue - 1) Biometric 2) Passport collection
- Checked DS160 confirmation page and appointment page and ask us to go to next counter
- Checked DS160 and paste sticker on our passport & gave token number
- Based on token we gone to respective window
- scanned 4 finger of left and right hand + both thumb together and took photographs
- Done for biometric

Visa Interview - 11th June 2019

- Mobile, camera, pen drive, electronics items like fitness band, watch etc.. not allowed
- Reached 30 mins before and security allowed us to stand in a queue.
- Checked our passport and ask to proceed for security scan inside the premises
- Security check completed and have to wait in a long queue - seating arrangement available for waiting
- scanned our fingers and requested us to stand in a queue

finally asked us to go to window, Visa officer is young guy.

Me - Good Morning Sir
VO - Very good morning sir, can i have your passport ?
Me - Passed passport
VO - Asked I797
Me - Passed I797
VO - Oh. you work for YYYY ?
Me - Yes
VO - You are going for which customer ?
Me - XYZ client
VO - XYZ ? or XYY ?
Me - XYZ
VO - I could see you traveled earlier for the same customer and mentioned name as XYY
Me - That is XYZ only but it may be a typo in spell, can i show my client document ?
VO - Yes, pls
Me - Shared Client document
VO - checked client name and did google i guess and reviewed customer site
VO - You are going for how many years
ME - XX years
VO - salary ?
Me - $ZZZ
VO - oh. $ZZZ
Me - Yes
VO - Show me your marriage certificate and kids birth certificated
Me - Passed
VO - checked both the certificate and given back to me
VO - and finally golden words - Your visa is approved sir, you will received your passport in 3-4 working days
Me - Thank you

11th June - evening checked that status was administrating processing
12th June - Issued

My suggestion - don't panic even before me 2 applicant was rejected from my window. be confident and
explain as per your petition and DS160.
