Hey Everyone, I have been reading a lot of the post and I thought I would share my experience to see if anyone is in the same boat.
I sent my papers for I-765, I-485, I-130 & I-131 November 13th, 2018. My I-765 form was rejected and received again December 6th, 2018. On April 1st, 2019 I received a notification that said that case is ready to be scheduled for an interview and I never heard anything else. I called to ask about the work permit and they said it was in the normal processing time because the wait now goes from 6.5 months to 8.5 months.
Anyone from LA that can tell me their experience?
Also, I am currently working with a 1099, would that get me in trouble in the future?
