I-485 Indianapolis filer: No biometrics appointment notice yet..
Hey guys,
I am i-485 filer(PD April 29th) from Indianapolis without lawyer.
Here is my time line:
4/2 i-485(with medical exam result and i-864), i-130, i-765 Package sent
4/8 Package Received
4/18 The WHOLE package was returned with Rejection notice because we used mixed method of payment..(check and credit card).. such a traumatic moment..
4/24 Re-submitted the whole package again
4/29 Package Delivered, PD
5/6 Got E-notification of received application, and a few days later got hard copy of notice.
But I didn't get biometrics notice yet.. I have a friend who also applied for i-485 in Indianapolis a few days before me and she already got her biometrics notice in the middle of May while I am still waiting for the notice even though I submitted the package only few days later than my friend.
I already called them last week and they said NBC has my case and they didn't send the notice yet. Does anyone have or had similar problems?
I don't think this is normal but I don't know what I can do about it.
Do they handle 're-submission' differently than 'original submission'? or just bad luck?
Also, more importantly, will this delay the whole process of i-485 application?
Please let me know if anyone went through same problems or is going through!
