Why is this taking so long, after interview
So I've known my wife for 4 years, got married and been married for 3 years now. We both are young and had kids from previous relationships, and kids are 9, 10, and 12 now so, obviously any more kids would be out of the question! I became a citizen, and then thought we should go and try to get her the green card since she only had a work permit through DACA. With so many changes and both of both living most of our lives here I though we should just apply for her green card. So it's been almost a year after our interviewed and nothing, yet. I must say all the questions were towards me and the old lady that gave us the interview got me so angry that I think it got the best of me. She kept saying "why are you helping this girl to get her papers" straight up, and I am like " what that heck your talking about, I met her, we married (actually married by civil without family even knowing, "crazy" haha" ) then we planned a wedding, a year later, and been together now 3 years married. The old lady, official kept saying that and I'm like NO!!! I was like it was actually my mother that gave us the money trying to help too, because we did not have that much money to pay it then. Then she is like how do I know you live together, I am like look at all the family trips, pictures, vacations over 4 years, we've had as a family, even tickets I had saved up (just because I like to remember good times). She would ask me how I met her, and when I would start she wouldn't even let me finish saying I was confusing her!!! I think she hated it me!!! I was like look she was introduced to me by a friend we had in common, I gave her a ride to NY as friends that we just met, and after that we liked each other and kept dating!! She wouldn't even let me finish saying that!! The only paper we forgot to bring was the joint bank account statement, so after the interview I went and got her one when we opened it and a current one. Long story short here are the next steps: (what do you think, would a lawyer help)

11/15/2017 application accepted w/ fingerprinting
7/16/2018 Interviewed scheduled
August of 2018 interviewed (where all above happened
Nov. 2018 Schedule info pass appointment to see what happened (they requested she do her med test again because the other one she did when we submitted expired) - so we did pay again for that.
2019 Jan-March we followed up with 3 more appointments and nothing (saying still reviewed)
One officer would say in Jan decision made you should get it soon, nothing so we went two more times and the second time it was the same office and told us, weird you should get an answer in 2 weeks) third time a lady said none of the thing the officer said was true because it was not noted in the system.
So now still waiting for a decision! Is driving me and my wife crazy insane waiting since they took her old work permit and all passports she had and all!!!! What is going on, who seen this???
