Here is my interview experience. Approved on spot.
6/24/2019 - Marriage based I-485 interview at Atlanta, GA
Interview was scheduled at 10:00 AM and we reached there about 9:25. We had to wait for 5 minutes because they are issuing token only before 30 minutes of appointment. In fact we were out of the building by 10:05 AM.
After getting token we went second floor and wait there about 3-5 minutes and immediately Immigration Officer (IO) came and took us inside to her cabin / desk.
At first he took my picture and fingerprints. No oath. He asked us only 3-4 questions regarding our home address and how many times we both were married before.
He didn't ask me to provide any additional documents even though I have few. He had entire file what I submitted to USCIS at beginning. He just put his eye balls real quick on documents filed and said He is approving our case.
He stamped I-485 form with "Approved" and provide me letter congratulating me approval case and welcome to america. When I was sitting on Immigration Officer's desk, I received text message on my phone that "New Card Is Being Produced". It was super fast. We were happy and leave Immigration Officer's desk with smile and happiness.
It took overall 10-15 minutes maximum. He said I will get green card in a week since he already ordered for us. I asked him to stamp my passport with I-551 but he said he don't have access right now to go downstair to stamp my passport but I need to call USCIS to arrange appointment to stamp passport. But he said I will get GC in a week since he approved it and already ordered it.
No lawyer, No RFE. EAD expedited and Advanced Parole Expedited. Everything worked fine.
