I just wanna give God praise and thanks , I cannot thank him enough for keeping me sane through this entire journey! But thank god it’s over !
PD December 26 2017
Field Office : Brooklyn, New York
Received notices: January 10th 2018
EAD : July 01 2018
Ready to be Scheduled for an Interview: July 10 2018
Moved to New Jersey January 2019
Changed of address ( January 2019)
Renewed EAD May 2019
Received notification interview was scheduled (never received it sent to my old address)
Had to call Uscis to get the interview information and was emailed a copy
Interview Day: June 17 2019! Federal Plaza

So my interview lasted about 30 minutes , she basically asked my husband most of the questions
Example: what’s my mothers name , Father and brothers names
How we met , where did we get engaged , when we decided to get married and how we met each other !

She was very nice to my surprise I was expecting someone mean and straight to the point but she was very sweet and jolly my husband was even cracking jokes here and there !
So she barely asked me anything , mostly questions like : where does your husband works ? Where did he earn his masters degree, what’s his occupation, what’s his salary and which field does he specialize in
We have a 5 year old daughter together as well.

Evidence we took to support our case
Bank statements
Photographs time lining our relationship over the years ( added my daughters birth as well and other important occasions)
Well all the Utilities bills are in my name when we moved in to our new apartment idk why I even did that it was kinda dumb but his name is on the lease , medical insurance, car insurance, car note and both our State ID’s share the same address!

So after the interview she handed me a white paper saying she needs more time to review our case and we will receive a decision via mail / you will receive a decision by 120 days! Let me tell you I left federal plaza feeling so sad because I was clueless to what this meant ! Then reading online some people have been waiting months to even get a response! So I told my self god is in charge and I’m not gonna stress anymore !

On Saturday June 22 2019 my status updated online! New card being Produced! Amen!
June 24 I received in the mail Approval letters for I-130 and I-485.
June 29th 2019 Green Card Arrive by mail 10 years!
I’m so thankful and this form has been so informative and supportive!
To the folks still waiting I know it’s frustrating but keep the faith! Patience is key! Not worrying about it so much kept me sane I found other things to occupy my time !

Any questions feel free to ask !
