Adjustment of Status - I-485

I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone for sharing their story, asking questions that everyone needed answered and for responding to my posts.

Here's the timeline for my wife who came in as a K1 Visa (I-129)

Sept 2017 Married
Sept 2017 Applied for I-485
Oct 2017 Biometrics Appt
Dec 2017 EAD/I-765 and I-131 combo card received
August 2018 Applied for I-765/I-131 Renewal
Dec 2018 I-131 Card in Hand
April 8, 2019 Interview for I-485
April 2019 Wrote Congressman
May 2019 I-765 EAD Renewal Card Received
May 2019 informed by Congressman RFE for Medical was needed (never received)
May 2019 Hired Attorney to request extension for RFE
May 2019 RFE Extended to June 2019
June 2019 RFE Medical handed in by Lawyer
June 26 2019 I-485 Approved
June 26 2019 - I-485 New Card being Produced
July 1 2019 - Card Mailed
July 2 2019- GC Received

It's been a long road but it's finally here! Too bad we were shy of the 10 year but it's oK! Honestly, it's never a bad idea to write your fellow Congressman. If it weren't for my Congressman, I would have never learned that there was an RFE for our medical because we NEVER received the mail requesting it and our online account was not updated.
