Interviewed in February, case status was updated again to ‘ready to be scheduled for an interview’’
Hello All,
I had my interview back in February, the interview went well, but my case was not approved immediately, we were given a doc that a decision would be made in 120 days.
After 120 days with no update, I gave USCIS a call to inquire about the case, my conversation with rep made me feel the case was left unattended, because he initially thought we were still waiting for an interview date, I made it clear we did the interview but we were waiting for a decision, he told me they would get back to me in the next two weeks.
A few days ago I went online to check my status and noticed my case was updated from “interview has been completed (a decision has not been made)” to “your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview”
Has anyone experienced this before? I am not sure what this means, I am aware that people are sometimes called in for a second interview, but I would have expected the case status update to reflect something like “ you case is ready to be scheduled for a second interview”. Could this be an error based on the conversation I had with the rep on the phone who thought I was waiting to be scheduled for an interview? For those that were called in for a second interview, was your case status updated to ‘your case is ready to be scheduled for an interview”?
