Impact of HR1044 & S386 on our GC application
Hi guys,
With RD of Oct 01, 2019 and I-485 interview date of Jun 20, 2019, I have the status of "Interview was completed but the case must be reviewed". My case is an EB2-NIW. The EB2 case for Aug is no longer current "C". This means that even the IO wants to send my card to be produced, he cannot because the case is not current anymore?
Also, I am non-indaian non Chinese. The Fairness for high skill workers bill (HR1044 and S386) is getting close to become a law. For those who are familiar with its meaning, does that mean I dramatically cannot get my GC (that could be approved to me right at the spot but for unknown reasons it was not), for a decade!!!
Please advise! How can I stay in this country on AOS pending for a decade! Do they keep renewing the EAD/AP until my case becomes current again in say 10 years?
