Adjustment of status( AOS) I 485
Hi I’ve had so much help from many of you who’s posted your timeline during this process s so I decided to share mine .I started my application November but finally

At first I was on an F-1 visa now I’m out of status. On the 2nd of February my application was finally mailed to the National Benefits center
Case received : 4th February 2019
Receipts mailed: 8th February
Fingerprint letter: 19th February

I got an RFIE on the 20th which means the next day I was freakin out turns out they only needed my sponsor and my husband’s job letters and paystubs apparently they had misplaced the first one we sent with the application. Finally sent it in April we had a loss in the family which had delayed the process tho

Biometrics: 28th February
Case resumed: on the 10th of April
Ready for interview: 12th of June
Card is being produced: July 15th. 163 days
Card is mailed: July 17
I797 letters (approval letters) for both EAD and AP card : July 19
Combo card( ead and ap card) delivered today July 20th 168days

As of today, my case has been active for 168days now my question is should I go and apply for the social security or should I wait till they send it to me which apparently can take 4 weeks maybe 2 someone please tell me
