H1b Stamping in Canada with Canada PR first landing.
Wanted to post our experience as it might help others.

I have a Canada PR (COPR) and wanted to do a landing in Canada before my COPR expired. So I decided to drive to Toronto via Windsor tunnel. Below is the steps

1. Fill out DS160 form
2. Get appointment for Toronto consulate. Got appointment as a Canadian Resident and I was really nervous about the documents they may ask for proof of residency.
3. Got a UPS mailbox for Canada PR card delivery.
4. Drove to Canada in my own vehicle via Windsor Tunnel on Monday.
5. I filled out the BSF186 and BSF186 A forms at the border and the Immigraion officer processed my COPR and stamped it and my passport. I gave the UPS mailbox address, no questions were asked.
6. Went across the road and applied for SIN the same day, this took about an hour. Again I gave the UPS mailbox address, no questions were asked.
7. Drove to Toronto the same day Monday. (had an airbnb for 5 days).
8. On Tuesday I had my Visa interview at 8:30 AM. Went in and they asked for proof of residence and I showed them the COPR and he asked if I landed in Canada yesterday and I said yes. No further questions were asked.
9. The Interview was very generic and the officer told my Visa was approved and I would get the passport in 2-5 business days.
10. I had chosen a post office on King st as the delivery location and they received the passport at around 10:30 AM on Friday. I picked up the passport and drove back to US the same day.
