Timeline for my EAD.
Marriage based, NBC center, NYC field office.
PD: 10/31/2018 for I-765, I-131, 1-130, I-485
Biometrics: 11/30/2018
3/14/2019: I-485 “case ready to be scheduled for an interview”
6/27/2019: after 8.5 months of radio silence, went to congress to expedite for job offer. I also raised 2SRs for i765 and I131.
(I went almost everyday to congressional office and made her follow up. Each time we got a different answer. Some officers claimed they have all the documents they need some claimed they never received the required docs for expedition. It was a disaster. One officer said my application was under extended review. One said ead should be any day. )
7/17/2019: “new card being produced” for i765
7/19/2019: received notices for i131 and i765
7/19/2019: “card mailed to me”
7/23/2019: card in hand FINALLY
Btw all this while case status for i131 still says case received.
Bottom line don’t believe anything anyone says. If you are expediting you need to go full force. You are your only chance. Be persistent be annoying do what you need to do do to get it done. Don’t leave it up to anyone. Everyone is overwhelmed and we are just names on a piece of paper. So you have to be very proactive in the process.
