Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hi
I'm from queen new york, I'm married to Green card holder . My Time line is here
- March 2018 sumbitted my I 485 (Based on priority date current )Pd is Feb 2017
- june 2019 interview was scheduled
- july 25 Interview
Here we go i went to interview at 7:15 am
IO take us to her room and she asked us to take out our ID , My EAD and my wife Green Card .
when i pull out my wife green card she started call somebody and i have no idea what going on there .one of white IO came in and look at our IDs and her green card .
and then he asked us to she's not citizen yet ? and i told him she is in her n400 process .
the our interview IO said i can't continue the interview i am out of status sine 2017 .
there were be 2 option one is Denied and one is i have to right it down
( to whom so ever concerned
i want to withdrawal my application MSC..... because i want to wait my wife became an usc and i have signed )
i don't even know what was happening there . i am so confusing
and she said i have to wait my wife became an usc
My Question is if my wife get her citizenship what should i do next ?
should i start all over again ? or continue my current i 485 ?
I am so confusing and so frustrated right norw ;(
Plz help me up guys
