Adjustment of Status - I-485

Soo our interview was scheduled on the 15th of July at 6:45AM we booked a hotel because we lived in the south and don’t want to take chance, It was really a good idea though..

We arrived and went in line , Please note if you have an appt, Go to the left hand side of the building, There is a separate line for someone with appts and non appts.

We waited I guess for about 15-20min until my husband was called. Officer introduced herself went through the application, Made notes. She really didn’t asked about our relationship the only thing I remember is how long we have been together so I told her turning 9 years this November I guess prior to that she already reviewed and she saw that we’ve been living together since 2012 there is really no flag on our application we were ready and expecting harder question (Bring it on, lol)

We also have a lawyer which I kind of regret my husband was a student technically lose his status we had our lawyer prepare everything for us but he wasn’t available during interview. This website is already good enough just browse and will save you money but only for the not-so-complicated case I guess.. Anyway see below for the timeline feel free to let me know if you have questions:

8/10/18 - PD
8/24/18- Biometrics appt letter
9/04/2018- Biometrics
9/10/18 Ready be scheduled for interview:
1/23/18- EAD was approved
1/25- new card is being produced
         -card has been mailed
1/26- card was delivered
6/04- Interview was scheduled
6/10- Interview notice has been received
7/15 - Interview date at 6:45AM ( I know
           we will be the first one)
7/19 - GC on hand
