Hello all.. I was reading all experiences everyday since I applied I-485, I-765, I-130, I-131 (change of status from F1-OPT, married USC and applied under C9 category). Immihelp really helped me so much and still is helping me. I would like to share my experience in here.

06/01/2019 Package was delivered.
06/03/2019 Status says, case was received for all the above
06/11/2019 Checks cashed
06/14/2019 received receipts from USCIS(NBC) for all the above, I-485, I-765, I-131, I-130
06/21/2019 Expedite Request on EAD (under severe financial loss and humanitarian reasons-I will loose my job if I don’t have EAD by this August second week, that results in severe financial loss. I need to pay rent, bills and need to clear monthly payments for my loan and importantly I need to take care of my mother medical bills and her expenses)
06/24/2019 Expedite Request cannot be completed without biometrics [ called USCIS]
06/21/2019 Received Biometrics Appointment Letter in mail
07/1/2019 Biometrics done (8 AM appointment)
07/2/2019 Called to expedite but I was asked to wait minimum a week for biometrics data to get into the system
07/05/2019 Second EAD expedite request submitted.
07/06/2019 Received E-mail notification requesting additional information to make decision under severe financial loss and humanitarian.
07/06/2019 In case history it says request to have your case expedited referral number MSC** was assigned to officer, sent response and completed in three different messages.
07/08/2019 Faxed all supporting documents, employer stating I cannot work after my expiry date and bills to pay, mother’s medical bills, loan statement, leasing agreement.(Used App Store “FAX” app, it worked like a charm(we need to pay to send fax though))
07/09/2019 Sent one more fax which is an updated document from employer and a cover letter
07/10/2019 Called USCIS to followup saying I sent the documents and confirm if they received it. They connected me to Tier-2 oocicer. There was almost 700 minutes wait time. I received a call back from that officer and explained that I need to know if they received my fax or not. She said, they don’t know that. We just have to wait until I receive a email or mail from them.
07/11/2019 Sent a followup fax addressing to “Attn: LA**, Div* * “, which I missed in my last two faxes. And included a cover letter stating URGENT followup about the request to process an expedite request for EAD under..……
07/11/2019 Called USCIS again to followup if they received it. They did not connect me to Tier-2 officer this time
07/12/2019 Called USCIS again to followup if they received it. Not much help
07/15/2019 at 5:35 AM received an email saying that, “ we received your documents in support of your request to expedite the decision on your application. Your case is currently under review. You will receive a decision or notice of further action shortly.” And In case history it says general enquiry was assigned to officer, sent response and completed in there different messages
07/15/2019 at 10:40 AM Received RFIE for I-485 saying, “ we sent a request for initial evidence for your form I-485, application to register permanent residence or adjust status, receipt Number MSC**. The request for evidence explains what we need from you. We will not take action on your case until we receive the evidence or the deadline to submit it expires Please follow instructions………”
07/15/2019 11 AM requested to change address but it never assigned to any officer.
07/17/2019 called USCIS saying I haven’t received the mail yet, they asked me to wait until Monday and call back.
07/22/2019 called USCIS and been transferred to Tier 2 officer(after a long wait time of 450 minutes), he said he can only fax the copy of RFIE document but not email. I did not know any fax number all of sudden and so he asked me to call back again tomorrow for that.
07/23/2019 Called USCIS and been connected to Tier 2 officer(after a long wait time of 480 minutes), I tried to give fax number of my lawyer’s and she said she can email the copy of that RFIE. And she emailed it.
07/24/2019 Received the mail of that RFIE document (it was a surprise, I thought it was lost).
07/25/2019 prepared and sent the RFIE package to USCIS(NBC)(included the RFIE all pages of the receipt, husband’s tax document, W2).
07/26/2019 USCIS signed and received the RFIE package.
07/29/2019 USCIS sent an email saying ”we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC YYYY XX. Our National Benefits Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision..” And the status has been changed to Response To USCIS Request For Evidence Was Received.
07/30/2019 Requested for expedite service request for my I-765 which was paused upon the RFIE of i-485, through USCIS chat, “your request to have your case expedited, referral number T1B YYYY X, is currently not assigned for processing”.
08/05/2019 Called USCIS and spoke to tier 2 officer and he said, he does not consider expedite request as USCIS is not responsible for such requests based on job loss. He was so mean and rude. Though I mentioned I need to help to pay mother’s medical bills he was harsh and showed no Humanity.
08/06/2019 Received an email about the expedite request, saying send a fax proof of documents for jobless/financial loss. Weird I sent them before. I think because of RFIE, it was reset. So Faxed them the documents two times again today.
08/07/2019 Received a pink courtesy letter in mail about the I-693 (medical) being not submitted.
08/08/2019 My current EAD is expiring today. Gave my badge and handed over my laptop to my company. Was so sad. Guess what I received an email in the evening at 5PM saying, New card is being produced. It took 66 days to get this status. I think expedite request worked. They approved it and they are creating a new card for me. I am so so happy.. I had happy tears. I really hope I get this EAD soon so, I can go back to work.
My question is, how long will it take to receive the EAD card after the status changes to card is being produced??
