Aos interview horror.
I just concluded my interview for green card and we were interviewed seperately. After my interview, I asked how it went and I was told that tbe only problem he had was that I lied to an immigration officer in 2016. A little background: I came into the US on an F1 visa in 2016. My I20 was for an MBA in a private school in Virginia. On arrival, I changed schools and majors(nursing) and my status was terminated by the DSO for not showing up at the school. It took me 1 year to. Have my status reinstated by the USCIS and I have been in school since then. I'm still in school. I got married to my USC spouse in december 2018 and we filed for AOS. During the interview and after a truckload of questions, the officer said that I lied about my intention during entry in 2016 and for that reason my case had a problem. I told him my status was reinstated by the uscis and I have been in school ever since. He insisted that I told a lie in 2016 and thus would deny my application would be denied. On my husband part he asked my husband if he really loved me and if he knew the financial obligations of sponsoring a green card? He also told him that if he was unsure, now is the time to opt out.My husband affirmed our love and informed the officer he was aware of the financial obligations. MMy husband also told him that we had our first date at fish basket" instead of shrimp basket which was my response. He also forgot about the restaurant we had dinner in on our wedding night. Other than that all our queations were answered correctly. Our initial interview was a stokes interview and we have not yet received a letter of response. The case status has changed to "under review" Im trying to know my options or what I should do. Confused
