My husband file my I 130 form and adjustment of status
My I-130 was file august 27,2018
I was held at the airport and was detain by ICE (removal proceeding)
I recieve the Notice To Appear letter and went to my first court hearing
In March 21,2019 ,i went with my lawyer and case was interduce to judge
Where my lawyer stated that we will be Adjusting Status in court
We filed for Adjustment of status march 22,2019 ..
Biometric was done May 10,2019 ....still havent received EAD card are work permit
I was given time to get i-130 approve ..next court (merit hearing)is schedule for October 2019...however I recently check my case status online( uscis)and it has move from case recieve to "name update "not sure as to what that means, can anyone who got this shed some light ?
My lawyer told me that hopefully I 130 is approve by the merit hearing ,if so from experience what should i expect at the merit hearing ,will i be granted a green card and how long can it take after judge cancel removal proceeding can i obtained green card ....
