After the Interview....why the waiting ??
Hello all.

We had our I-485 interview on July 25 in the NJ Newark field office.
It was good and bad experience.
The bad part is that we couldn't bring so many joint papers. We had only bank statements , bills and many-many pictures. Besides all the necessary paperwork.
We couldn't bring insurance , ( we both started to work recently) and no rental agreement for the apartment. (Owner and his little company didn't want to give us contract and nobody have it in the building which is bad I know, but this wasn't in our hands).
Anyway. Because of that she sit us separate in our 1st interview.
Now the good part.
Everything she asked we answered correctly...every each (same) questions.
We had to draw our bedroom and all the details in the room.
Obviously we are married and we live together so we had no problem at all 95% we answered correctly.
In the end she said "you guys did good". She need to review all the documents and I guess she will decide it later. She said the green card is usually takes 2-4 weeks after the interview...she even said that. Than she made copies (30 min waiting there) of all the new documents.
In the end she gave us a paper which says " your case is being held for review. Please allow us no less than 120 days before making a status inquiry on your case" etc
Now.
3 weeks after and NO UPDATES. Nothing .
Anybody had this situation that looks everything fine and got this paper and waiting such a long time? Usually takes next day for the update or couple of days (as I read on the forums).
Should I start to worry?
Also if they will call us in for a second interview why they sit us separate in the 1st interview? Which was successful! So I don't understand the delay.
Sorry about my English and thanks for the answers.
