Can Husband and Wife Who Have H1Bs from Two Different Companies Attend One Visa Interview Slot
Hi there,
My wife and I both have H1b visas and we are planning a trip to India in November. My wife and I work for different companies and we need to attend the US consulate in Chennai for visa stamping.
Can both my wife and I book one slot- meaning- can both of us attend the interview for the same timeslot and date without having to book two separate appointments?
If that can be done - my wife has already booked her slot and I am looking to add my name for the same date and slot. However I am not sure what option to choose - Should I choose 'Group Scheduling Request' or should I add myself in "Step 6: Please click “Add by Name” or "Add Existing Applicant" if you have a group/family member (including a child) who needs to apply for a visa with you." This page is tagged under 'Dependents', so I am confused.
