INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE
We were called in at 11:00 am. And I am glad the officer was very friendly.
We were asked for our passports, birth certificates and marriage certificate and the medical report.
We were asked the questions from i-485 and i-130.
We were asked the details about how we met, our date of births, where we both worked and where our parents resided.
We were asked where and when we got married (04/2018)
Did we have any pictures and if any of our friends attended our wedding (Answer to this was NO)
We had our wedding celebration pictures (3 different functions) from home country in 11/2018.
We provided with the pictures from home country and all the pictures from our other trips and outing with family and friends. We had three albums. She looked through all the albums meanwhile casually chatting with us (asking general questions- I am sure we were being assessed even then )
After that officer asked us if we had anything to prove the marriage is bonafide. We had the flights tickets from before, gym membership, grocery stores membership, lease papers. We do not have any joint bank statements.
The officer told that everything looks good to her. And all she needs to check is papers we submitted. We should hear back in few days. She asked us take the albums back, she did not take any photos from album either.
She walked us back to the door.
