H1 and H4 statuses in Administrative Processing
Hello,
I had H1B interview along with 3 dependents in Hyderabad consulate on 22-Aug.
After few regular questions, VO retained the passports and mentioned your 'Visa processing is initiated'. Interview was smooth with no roadblocks nor surprises. No slips have been handed over to me at the time of interview. Later to realization that the VO did not mention it as approved but Initiated.
I see that all the Visas are under 'Administrative Processing' status currently.
What does this mean? Do you guys think the visas are approved or any further information would be required from me? What is the usual time for approval in this case?
