I485 results of the interview
Hello everyone.
I went on Tuesday for my interview for my i485 at the Kendall field office.
The interview went well the officer was very friendly and helpful, he asked a couple of personal questions about our marriage and all the yes/no questions. Made a couple of funny comments and asked us about one trip to my home country before we got Married and also about a trip to New York.
At the end he told I was going to get my Residence for two years since we had beed marriage for less than 2 years and that before the Green card expires I was going to fill a form to renew it to get the 10 years one.
He gave us a paper to sign and told us that the interview was complete and then he printed a white paper that says “case was going to be set for a review” or something like that. He told me that we would receive any notice on the mail.
I’m confused since the interview went very well and he even told me that I was going to get the Green Card for 2 years and at the end he just gave me that paper and said we had to wait for the review.
I’d like to know if someday has experienced something like that and how long did it take to receive any notice ?
