Hello everyone,
We had our interview yesterday at 26Federal Plaza NYC.
When we check in we were asked if we needed an interpreter, we answer yes (Spanish) my husband speaks a little bit but is better to have a professional translate. Waited like 30/40 minute n a female IO called us in. Asked for my DL & passport (petitioner/US citizen) n my husband EAD, DL & passport. Asked a couple of questions including the yes/no questions on i485. asked if we had any joint accounts (bills,bank account, lease,). The apartment lease is under someone else name, I had that person notarized a letter, I had all the money order receipts and the lease. She ask to see the photo album n took three picture, one of our wedding pic just us two, one of him with his dad, sister n nephew ( I was ask to tell who was on the picture), and a picture of my mom birthday ( he was asked to say who was on the pic).
After that she said it will take up to 120 days for us to get a letter with the decision.
Last night at 9:40pm we got a notification that “new card is being produced”
God is grate, thank you Jesus 🙏🏻
